August 23 – October 10 Voices: Immigration is the exhibition component of “The Voices Project,” a research initiative by Misericordia University Psychology Professor Dr. Alicia Nordstrom, whose research into countering prejudice among college students against marginalized groups through empathy involves interventions that include the performing and visual arts. This exhibition features six visual artists whose work addresses aspects of the immigrant experience in the United States. Artist Reception (face to face) Tuesday September 14, 2021, 5:30-7:30pm At this time, we hope that an in-person event can safely be held, but maintain that circumstances can change based on the global health concerns. We will notify you as soon as possible if this occurs and impacts our planning of this in-person event. The health and safety of our event attendees is of the utmost importance. Masks are required while on campus, and are to be worn when not eating or drinking. Seating for this event is limited and RSVPs are required to attend – NO WALK-IN SEATING WILL BE AVAILABLE. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday, 1pm – 4pm
