Open Position: Donor Relations Manager
Reports To: Director of Development

PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Development, the Donor Relations Manager is accountable for fostering the F.M. Kirby Center’s fundraising programs specific to Membership, Corporate Sponsorships, and Foundations. Responsibilities include prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, database management and recognition of member and corporate sponsorships. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 - Research and prepare grant applications.
 - Development of solicitation materials for membership and corporate sponsorships to include letters of support, acknowledgements and invoices.
 - Stewardship of member and corporate benefits and donor recognition events.
 - Prospect identification for membership and corporate gifts.
 - Using Donor Perfect Database/CRM software to record/invoice gifts, generate daily reports, generate  pledge reminders and better communicate with donors.
 - Staff support to Advancement Committee.
 - Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Position requires four year degree and a minimum of two years of development experience in related field.  - Knowledge in fundraising.
 - Proven track record in gift solicitation on all levels.
 - Experience in planning, implementing and managing fundraising campaigns and analyzing fundraising data. Strong writing skills.
 - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
 - Professional etiquette.
 - Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed.
