Purpose of this position

Children's Service Center (CSC) and the Robinson Counseling Center (RCC) for Adult Services continues to grow at a rapid pace with challenging and exciting opportunities for experienced professionals.  CSC has been helping children since 1862 when it first opened as the Home for Friendless Children. Becoming CSC in 1938, our ability to grow for 160 years with continually offering an array of quality services is founded on dedicated, experienced professionals who nurture new valued employees that possess the same caring mission.  When considering candidates, we look for scientific and business professionals who are highly motivated, collaborative, and most important, share our passionate interest in the mental/physical well-being of others. Under administrative and clinical guidance provides professional preventative, therapeutic, restorative and maintenance medication service for patients. This care is provided in a variety of community settings for both children and adults.  


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to develop and implement plans of care
  • Provide skilled nursing care, set priorities, make judgments, delegate appropriate functions and asset others in similar decisions 
  • Ability to interpret and explain medical records, reports and medical instructions
  • The ability to work independently under a collaborating physician

This position is elligible for a Sign-On Bonus of $5000

($1000 @ hire, $2000 @ 6 months, $2000 @ 1year)

 

Qualifications: 

Master’s degree in nursing with Psychiatric Clinical Specialty area in advanced nursing practice from an accredited program

One year work experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner

Medical experience, with adults and mental health experience preferred, but not require
