Wilkes Barre, PA (Nov. 10, 2025) – The multi-platinum rock group Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) has been touring their spectacular Holiday concerts since 1999 when they started performing in theaters and quickly began playing larger venues and arenas, often times with multiple shows per city. Wilkes Barre was one of the first markets to catch the TSO excitement and the band has played the market every year since 2000 (except for a year during Covid). This year’s shows at Mohegan Arena on Saturday, November 22 at 2:30pm and 7:30pm will mark the 50th (and 51st) shows to play Wilkes Barre.
In celebration of the 50th TSO show in Wilkes Barre, the band will be making a Customer Appreciation Offer of $10 off tickets* for 50 hours starting on Veteran’s Day, November 11th at 10am and running through noon on Thursday, November 13th, which happens to be the 26th Anniversary of the venue opening. To take advantage of this offer, simply go to Ticketmaster.com (there are no passwords needed) or for even more savings, the Mohegan Arena Box office, where there are no ticketing service charges added.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra has been a holiday mainstay at the Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza, welcoming more than 316,000 guests through their doors to experience this one-of-a-kind holiday rock opera since its first visit to the region. Justin Topa, director of marketing for the Mohegan Arena, says the show’s enduring popularity as a NEPA family tradition is a testament to how deeply Trans-Siberian Orchestra is woven into the region’s holiday spirit.
“The holidays bring a special kind of magic to northeastern Pennsylvania, steeped in joy, generosity and shared traditions, and TSO has become a part of that magic,” said Topa. “Celebrating their 50th show here in Wilkes-Barre is a testament to just how engrained Trans-Siberian Orchestra has become in ushering in the holiday season for families across NEPA.”
This offer is a thank you to the fans of Wilkes Barre for making Trans-Siberian Orchestra one of the top touring acts of the last 2½ decades. With over 20 million concert tickets sold and a staggering more than $20 million donated to charity since their inception, TSO remains one of rock's most generous bands, proudly upholding Paul O’Neill’s vision, by contributing at least $1 from every ticket sold to local charities. This year’s charity will be the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen in Wilkes-Barre.
This year, the highly anticipated 2025 Winter Tour will bring back their legendary holiday show, The Ghosts of Christmas Eve: The Best of TSO & More, to life with a special production, featuring a second set of hits and fan favorites. Kicking off on November 13, the tour will span 64 cities with 106 performances before concluding on December 30, continuing TSO’s tradition of delivering an unparalleled fusion of rock, classical, and theatrical spectacle — complete with pyros, lasers, and the powerful storytelling that has captured the hearts of generations.
But that’s not all for this year! TSO is also happy to announce the return of a fan-favorite tradition: the TSO signing line! For the first time since 2019, every fan attending an evening performance will have the incredible opportunity to get one item signed by members of the group, completely free of charge.
