WVCA's “Do it For the Kids” Walk-A-Thon

Save the Date! Get your family and friends together and join the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association (WVCA) for our Annual “Do it For the Kids” Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the WVCA school in Forty Fort. For 34 years, WVCA has been hosting this signature event for our community to learn about WVCA and raise funds for a great cause. The Walk-A-Thon is an outdoor, family-focused event that provides crucial support for WVCA programs. Your registration includes lunch, walk T-shirt, children’s activities (face painting, balloon animals, etc.), meet & greets, community vendor tables, and more. Tickets will be on sale soon and sponsorships are available.

Walk Start Time: 11:00 AM

Post Walk Events & Lunch: 12:00 PM

Location: WVCA School Parking Lot (1133 Wyoming Ave, Forty Fort)

Parking: Hugh B Hughes & Son, Inc. Funeral Home (1044 Wyoming Ave, Forty Fort)

Entry Fees (non-refundable):

Adults: $25.00 Pre-Registration | $30.00 At The Door

Ages 7-13: $15.00

Ages 6 & Under: FREE
