Dave Tamkus is the owner and creative director of Tamkus Art & Design, a Shamokin, Pennsylvania-based branding and visual communications studio specializing in logo design, brand development, hand-painted signs, murals, and marketing materials. With more than 20 years of experience in graphic design —including roles in print production, corporate design, and marketing. What started as freelance projects completed after work and on weekends has grown into a successful creative business serving clients throughout Pennsylvania and beyond.

Today, Dave works with businesses, nonprofits, municipalities, and community organizations to develop logos, brand identities, marketing campaigns, murals, and hand-painted signage that help them stand out and connect with their audiences.

A firm believer that great design is both creative and strategic, Dave is passionate about helping entrepreneurs understand the power of branding and marketing as tools for growth. He regularly shares his experiences as a business owner, designer, and community advocate, offering practical insights on entrepreneurship, building a brand, and turning creative skills into a sustainable business.
