Join the Sordoni Art Gallery for its feature Art in Context lecture entitled “Making the French Print Connection” with curator Nancy Sojka. She will touch upon the works of Théodore Géricault, Honoré Daumier, Charles Méryon, Edgar Degas, and others featured in our exhibition that explore the intriguing story of technical, cultural, and artistic innovations of a nineteenth-century France with the revival and cultivation of modern printmaking. Journey through aspects of daily life—in all its complexities from the examination of politics to the depiction of city streets and rural farms or to the representation of human relationships.
