Join us on Tuesday, June 12th from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Wyoming Seminary Kirby Center for the Creative Arts at 260 North Sprague Avenue, Kingston, for our 2018 EPIC Awards, presented by Wells Fargo. The EPIC (Extraordinary People Inspiring Community) Awards seek to honor individuals who have made significant and meaningful positive impacts on our community.

We will present the ATHENA Award, sponsored by Riggs Asset Management, to Kathleen Dunsmuir, Vice President and Wealth Management Director at PNC Bank. This award represents that Kathleen has attained and personified the highest level of professional excellence in her profession, has devoted time and energy to the community in a meaningful way, and has generously assisted women in attaining their full potential.
The Innovator of the Year Award, sponsored by Penn State Wilkes-Barre, will be presented to Will Beekman, Executive Director of the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts, for his demonstrated ability to drive innovation within our region.

The Volunteer of the Year Award will be presented to Alison Zurawski, Community Relations Coordinator at Community Bank, N.A. Her support of community-based and nonprofit organizations in the Greater Wilkes-Barre region not only allows these entities to better meet their mission, but also allows them to attract and retrain other volunteers.

The Chamber will also present two Community Celebration Awards, sponsored by Geisinger, to Northeast Sight Services, for their 100th year, and the Family Business Alliance, for their 20th year.

In addition to the award ceremony, the event will feature a closing cocktail reception after the awards in the lobby of the Wyoming Seminary Kirby Center for the Creative Arts, featuring Chamber member food vendors, wine, and beer.
