Luzerne County Community College will hold its 29th annual history conference, “The History of Northeastern Pennsylvania” on Friday, October 1, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the College’s Educational Conference Center. The theme of this year’s conference is “Football in Northeast Pennsylvania.” The conference is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the LCCC social science/history department and the Luzerne County Historical Society.
