Members of the Greater Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Network are invited to experience The Bench Project on Friday, October 22nd at 5:00 PM. This is a one-of-a-kind experience in our area and we are excited about this opportunity. See below for the official invitation and details from Beth, Founder of The Bench Project. This event is free to participate, but registration is required.
My name is Beth Romanowski, Founder of The Bench Project, and I am reaching out to the Wyoming Valley Chamber and The Young Professionals regarding a team-building/corporate event opportunity.
The Bench Project inspires and nurtures the human spirit by enabling connection through a shared experience, one bench at a time. Check out this video to hear the story and vision of what this project is all about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jzqutq2Mamg
Our signature Bench Trail is located at Twin Oaks Farm, 974 Kasko Road in Shavertown. It is a 3-mile nature walk accompanied by 31 unique benches along the path. Each bench has a weatherproof bag attached to it containing a journal, a pen, and colored pencils. Each bench is an invitation to rest, reflect, and connect. By sharing your story with our community, you'll lighten your load, find gratitude, and inspire the next person who sits on the bench.
Bringing your team out for a Bench Walk is a great way to foster connections and build community amongst your organization. It gives your team members the opportunity to de-stress, unplug, and reconnect with themselves.
In our fast-paced world, there’s something special about taking a moment to sit, read, write, and find joy.
Come open, leave full.
The Bench Trail is a free experience! We want to make sure all groups and individuals have a peaceful journey on the trail, so I have reserved October 22nd for your group.
I have attached The Bench Trail map and Bench Tips sheet.
Please download Google Maps to your phone prior to arrival so you can follow the trail link below: https://goo.gl/maps/zftWocFq5Y5MrQd69
See you at the farm!
