Throughout the month of April for Diversity Month, we will be highlighting some amazing individuals in our community that are spearheading diversity, equity, and inclusion causes and initiatives, as well as business leaders and owners with diverse backgrounds. Next, we spoke to Bill Browne, who is part of Political Action/Communications for the NAACP & the Peace & Justice Center Steering Committee.

A: I have a vision of the kind of world I want to live in.

Q: I am most excited to accomplish what through my diversity, equity, and inclusion community work…
A: Seeing people celebrate one another regardless of their differences. 

Q: Three words to describe yourself…
A: Dedicated, Kind, Inquisitive
      
Q: My greatest achievement to date is…
A: In 2012 I stopped counting after registering my 5,000th Voter. Voting is very important to me.

Q: Five years from now, I will be…
A: Advocating for those whose voice is but a whisper.

Q: Best advice you’ve received…
A: If you can't change the world perhaps you can change someone's mind. And they may change the world.
   
Q: Favorite activity in NEPA… 
A: Born and raised in The Bronx, NYC, I love the streams, lakes, trees, deer, birds and everything else that NEPA people take for granted.
