Meet ATHENA Panelist Barbara Maculloch!

Barbara Maculloch is the President of Pennsylvania Banking. With more than 35 years of experience in the banking industry she has served in various positions throughout her career. Prior to joining the Community Bank team in 2011, she was vice president with M&T Bank responsible for its private banking division in northeast Pennsylvania. Prior to the appointment of President of PA Banking in 2017, Maculloch served as senior vice president and Pennsylvania market director for Community Bank Wealth Management.

Outside of the office, Maculloch is an active leader in her community, having served on numerous boards and currently including, Geisinger Advisory Council, Greater Wilkes Barre Chamber of Commerce, CBI Board of Directors & Industrial Committee, Misericordia University Board of Trustees and Westmoreland Club Board of Directors. Barbara is also a member of Circle 200.

Additionally, beginning with the Osterhout Free Library in 2006, Barbara has chaired over 40 events throughout the region for not-for-profit organizations in the past 20 years helping to raise over $4MM for area organizations in need.

Maculloch is a graduate of Misericordia University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking. She is a graduate of Leadership Wilkes-Barre and was honored as recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award. Barbara is also a graduate of Lackawanna Executive Leadership. In addition, Maculloch was named one of the Top 25 Women in Business by the Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal and earned the Community Stewardship Award from North Branch Land Trust. Barbara was also recognized as the 2017 Athena Award recipient from the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce. In 2021, Barbara received the Evergreen Award from the Osterhout Library and the Golden Anna Cervernak Community Impact from Northeast Sight Services. She resides in Wyoming PA with her husband, George, and daughter, Rachel.
