Meet Our 2024 Chamber Ambassador Chair Stephanie Swire!

We sat down with our Chamber Ambassador Council Chair, Stephanie Swire, Real Estate Professional in our next Chamber Ambassador Spotlight!

Read the full Q&A with Stephanie below to learn even more about her!

Q: What is your favorite thing about your job?

A: I match buyers to the house they are searching for and guide sellers through the process of selling their home. As a real estate professional, my position allows me to share my expertise in all aspects of a real estate transaction. Not only does an agent show a home but we also prepare documents, communicate with all parties, negotiate for our clients, and advise them on every key task that needs to be completed right up until the closing.  Sellers need guidance on how to prepare their home so it shows well which will maximize their asset, their home. Buyers on the other hand may not even know where to start. They need someone they can trust to help them with the largest purchase of their life. My absolute favorite part is guiding a client, providing them with the knowledge and information they need to put their best foot forward so they get their keys!! Seeing their face at the closing table is priceless!!! Knowing THEY did this!!! Best feeling in the world!!

Q: What causes/organizations are you involved within the community?

A: I’m involved in several areas of the community like Bowl for kids sake/big brothers big sisters, Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Chair, in kind donations, sponsorships for local fundraisers, area trunk or treats, soccer or baseball teams and networking events.

Q: What is your favorite thing about the Wyoming Valley and how do you like to spend your spare time?

A: The small towns have amazing people. We have some amazing people and professionals bringing innovative and inclusive businesses to the area. We are a tight knit community. It's such a great place to raise a family and live. I love how there are organizations, fundraisers, and events to bring families out to get engaged in their communities.

Q: Why did you choose to get involved in the Chamber Ambassador Council and what are you most looking forward to?

A: As a local business person I wanted to really get in touch with the local businesses to see what we had in the area as well as promote these businesses as they are the backbone of so many local communities. There are so many good things for us to do. So many little shops, restaurants, diverse spaces to gather and enjoy coming together as a community.

Q: What are you most looking forward to about being a part of the Council?

A: Getting to know local business owners and highlight them so the community can utilize what we have in our great towns. These small businesses need us to rally around them with our support.
