We are a traditional martial arts school, specializing in the Korean martial arts of TaeKwonDo and Hapkido. We also have a children's Black Belt Character Development Program that teaches and develops character traits. Our curriculum also includes traditional weapons.  We also offer Women's "Strike Back" self-defense classes, corporate safety programs, reality-based self-defense, anti-bullying workshops, firearms classes, and law enforcement / peace officer training on subject restraint, de-escalation, baton and handcuffing.

As one of the oldest martial arts and self-defense schools in Luzerne County(founded in 1983), we tailor training and techniques to the abilities of our students and revolve around a “core” curriculum. This well-established, structured training has been combined from the teachings of the school’s first three Korean owners, Grandmaster H.Y. Kwon, Grandmaster Ko and Grandmaster Nam. The school was then passed down to Grandmaster Vince Sperduto, 9th Dan (hapkido and taekwondo) who has taught thousands of men, women and children for over four decades in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Grandmaster Sperduto is one of the highest ranked Hapkido masters in North America. In February of 2024, the school was passed down to the school’s current owner, Master Pete Canavan, 6th Dan (hapkido and taekwondo) who has trained at the school since 1996.
