The vision of Independent Living is to create a comfortable living environment where our aim is to not only meet the needs of the people we care for but support their dreams and help them reach milestones, and achieve their goals.

We will collaborate with individuals and their families to provide high-quality lifelong natural supports that will empower people to thrive in their home and communities.  

We are Luzerne county’s newest Community Home Service agency for people diagnosed with Intellectual Disabilities! We support people to live as independently as possible and provide quality services to assist them in realizing their hopes and dreams in their homes and communities. Our Direct Support Professionals are family orientated and caring people that want to provide anyone who wishes to receive services from us the best opportunities to live a happy and fulfilled life.
