SALUTE TO SERVICE SUITE RETURNS TO MOHEGAN ARENA

NOMINATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR SELECT GAMES FOR
THE WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON PENGUINS’ 2025-26 HOCKEY SEASON

PROUDLY PRESENTED BY COORS LIGHT

WILKES-BARRE, PA (September 9, 2025) – Game night just got more meaningful. The Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are bringing back the Salute to Service Suite Program for the 2025-26 AHL hockey season, giving local military members and first responders the VIP treatment they deserve.

Through the Salute to Service Suite program, now entering its tenth year, local military and first responders can be nominated to enjoy a Penguins home game in style—complete with luxury seating, VIP parking and community gratitude. Each selected honoree receives twelve suite tickets, VIP parking, and complimentary snacks, creating a worry-free night of fun and celebration with family, friends and fellow heroes.

Since its debut in 2015, the Salute to Service Suite has provided a memorable game-day experience to more than 4,000 military personnel and first responders. The program, presented by Coors Light, continues to grow as one of the most meaningful traditions at Mohegan Arena, shining a spotlight on the individuals whose courage and sacrifice make community life possible. Nominations are now open to the general public for the 2025-26 season and can be submitted online at Mohegan Arena's website.

“We are incredibly honored to recognize the selfless service of our local military heroes and first responders with the return of the Salute to Service Suite,” said Justin Topa, director of marketing at the Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza. “It’s a way for us to pause, reflect and honor the people who put everything on the line for our community and our country. Their sacrifices allow us to gather here in safety and celebration and providing them with this experience is one small way we can show the gratitude they so deeply deserve.”

In addition, all active and retired military members and first responders, including police, firefighters, and EMTs, will continue to receive 25% off select concession items at all permanent venue-managed stands by showing their ID at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins games, as well as at concerts and family shows.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are also offering special ticket pricing for active military. With a Military ID, active service members can purchase Red Zone tickets for $29, Orange Zone tickets for $27, or Green and Blue Zone tickets for $24 at the NBT Bank Box Office at Mohegan Arena. Individual game tickets for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins regular season are now on sale.

Specialty group pricing is also available for military and first responder groups during the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins’ Military Appreciation Night on February 21 and First Responders Night on April 18. Season ticket packages, including full-season memberships, 22-game, 12-game, and Flexbook plans, are available by contacting the Penguins directly at (570) 208-7367. A limited number of luxury suite rentals are also available for select Mohegan Arena events. For inquiries, please contact the arena at (570) 970-3506.
