Join North Branch Land Trust for “Yoga in The Forest”

Foster Township, PA -- Enjoy a meditative morning with North Branch Land Trust and certified yoga instructor Gerri Simmers on Sunday, August 10th, at The George & Lillian Picton Wildlife Sanctuary, White Haven, PA. Participants will learn about their innate connection to nature, while peacefully practicing yoga. This event runs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Participants are required to bring their own yoga mat or towel. All experience levels are welcome!

“Amazing…Blissful,” described Simmers, when asked about her experiences leading yoga classes outdoors.

The event registration is at no cost; however, donations are encouraged as they support more events like this in the future. To learn more about the event or to RSVP, visit NBLT.org/events or email info@NBLT.org.

"As humans, we have an innate connection to nature, so being able to find time in nature during social meetings, events/programs, and even during work events is exactly what our body and mind need. Our Yoga in the Forest event is going to be led by an amazing instructor, Gerri Simmers, who will allow all attendees to get fully immersed into the nature that surrounds us (the soft wind blowing, birds chirping, and the feeling of the sun on our skin), while practicing relaxing and beginner level yoga poses,” explains Leah Malarkey, Environmental Education Coordinator.
