Kick-off Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month 

at Old Forge Brewing Company Monday, August 31!

WHAT:                   Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month Kick-off Event at Old Forge Brewing Company

WHEN:                   Monday, August 31, 2026, from 5 pm – 7 pm

WHERE:                  532 Mill Street, Danville, PA 17821

WHY:                      Since 2015, Service 1st Federal Credit Union and Old Forge Brewing Company have been teaming up with local volunteers to raise awareness about Pediatric Cancer. As part of the Central & Northeastern Pennsylvania Pediatric Cancer Awareness Committee, they are excited to announce the kick-off event scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Join them as they set out to raise awareness and funds to benefit ThinkBIG® Pediatric Cancer Awareness Fund.

Enjoy raffles, drink specials including mocktails/cocktails and be there when they tap their Going Gold Lager! $1 from each pint sold will benefit ThinkBIG that night and throughout September.

Diane Dutko, Executive Director of ThinkBIG, will be there to inform us about what’s next for this growing organization.

While many organizations focus on funding cancer research, ThinkBIG addresses another urgent need: the immediate financial hardships families face while caring for a child with cancer. From travel expenses to daily living costs, the burden can be overwhelming. That’s where your generosity makes a difference. Every gift, no matter the size, directly supports families in need—providing hope, relief, and the reminder that they are not alone.
