NEPA Alliance held a media event with The Inn at Lackawaxen
Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance (NEPA) held a media event with The Inn at Lackawaxen.
The Inn at Lackawaxen, doing business as The Waterstone Manor, is located at 188 Scenic Drive in Lackawaxen, Pike County, PA, 18435. Situated along the Delaware River, the historic property combines upscale dining with a relaxed riverfront atmosphere and offers accommodations for weddings, private events, and overnight guests.
Built in the 1850s, the property has a long history of welcoming travelers and residents, serving as a destination for entertainment, good food, and hospitality. Today, the Inn at Lackawaxen continues that tradition while providing a distinctive setting for dining, celebrations, and special events.
The Inn is operated by George Haleem and his father, Ayoub Haleem, who work together to manage the facility and its day-to-day operations. With financing support from The Dime Bank, NEPA Alliance Business Finance Corporation was able to provide financing that helped the owners purchase the real estate and take over operations of this historic facility.
The financing partnership provided George and Ayoub Haleem with an opportunity to preserve and build upon a longstanding Lackawaxen landmark while investing in the continued success of the property and its role in the local community.
NEPA Alliance, a regional community and economic development agency, serves the seven counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania, including Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill, and Wayne.
