Peoples Security Bank & Trust Donates $1.3 Million to Local Organizations Through Pennsylvania EITC Program

In 2024, Peoples Security Bank & Trust contributed over $1.3 million to private schools, scholarship organizations, pre-kindergartens, school districts, universities, and other non-profit organizations through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. This initiative allows businesses to redirect a portion of their state tax dollars to support educational and community organizations via the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.

The donated funds supported scholarships, educational materials, school grants, and innovative programs that enhance learning opportunities. Overall, 106 organizations across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania benefited from these contributions. Since joining the program in 2015, Peoples Security Bank & Trust has allocated over $7.5 million through the EITC initiative.
