Rhythms in Recovery Walk & Celebration Brings Hope and Healing to NEPA


Saturday, September 20 • Kirby Park, Wilkes-Barre • 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM


Wilkes-Barre, PA – This September, in honor of National Recovery Month, the community will come together for the Rhythms in Recovery Walk & Celebration. Your $20 donation will include a T-shirt and Free Lunch.  A family-friendly event dedicated to raising awareness, celebrating recovery, and providing resources for those affected by addiction.


Held on Friday, September 20 at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre, the event will feature an inspiring recovery walk, live music, and a vibrant vendor village with local businesses, nonprofits, and recovery organizations.


“Our goal is to create a space of hope, connection, and support,” said Kimberlee Greenleaf, event coordinator. “Recovery is possible, and this celebration is about uniting our community to show that no one walks this journey alone.”


Highlights of the Day:

-Recovery Walk: A symbolic stroll through Kirby Park honoring those in recovery and remembering those lost.

-Live Music & Entertainment: Featuring uplifting performances that inspire and energize. FEATURING THE DALLAS CARTER BAND & TORI V & THE KARMA! 

-Spirit, Mind & Body Zone: Meditation and simple body workouts

-Kids Zone: Bounce Houses and Carnival Games

-Vendor Village: Artisan, providers, and community resources of all types

Time:  Registration Opens at 10:00 AM, Walk at 11:30, Music from Noon – 3:30 PM

Location: Kirby Park, Wilkes-Barre, PA

Donation to benefit Dress for Success Luzerne County $20 to Walk with a free T-shirt and Lunch, plus open to the public, register at www.rhythmsinrecovery.com
