Service Electric Celebrates Two Employees for More Than 50 Years of Dedicated Service

The celebration was held at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem, a valued partner and cherished landmark in the community. Family members of the honorees joined dozens of Service Electric employees for the event, underscoring the close-knit culture that has defined the company for generations. Special guests included Gloria Walson, wife of the late John Walson Jr., and John Walson III, current President of Service Electric, who delivered heartfelt tributes to both Kelly and Macus. “Jeff and Joe embody the spirit of Service Electric,” said Walson. “Their commitment, loyalty, and passion for serving our customers have helped shape our company into what it is today. We are deeply grateful for their decades of service.” Founded 77 years ago, Service Electric continues to exemplify a culture of loyalty, commitment, and community. The company is proud to have 88 employees with more than 20 years of service—an extraordinary reflection of its strong values and close-knit workforce. Among these long-tenured team members, General Manager Jack Capparell and Construction Manager Darryl Reccek Sr. stand out with an impressive 60 years of service each.
