Diversity Month Highlight: Dan Kimbrough

Throughout the month of April for Diversity Month, we will be highlighting some amazing individuals in our community that are spearheading diversity, equity, and inclusion causes and initiatives, as well as business leaders and owners with diverse backgrounds. Next, we spoke to  Dan Kimbrough, Owner, and CEO of Park Multimedia and the Chair of our Chamber Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council.

Dan is the owner and President of Park Multimedia, a content creation and management company. When not handling projects with Park, Dan also serves on various boards and councils, helping build up and make a better community, including the American Cancer Society NYPENN region, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeaster PA, and the Greater Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce. Dan is also an educator who’s spent over a decade teaching media production, content creation, live sports production, media criticism, media literacy, conflict mediation, intercultural communications, and worked in diversity training and consulting.

A: The need for change is a real and pressing issue. Rather than sit by and hope things improve, it feels amazing to be a part of it and get to collaborate with others who want to move the region forward.

A: Helping those we overlook and giving a voice to those we don't seek out.

A: Educator, Creator, Father

A: My son, Luca.

A: Working towards a storytelling community center for marginalized youth.

A: Don't burn bridges out of anger. You don't who they're connected to and life is long.
